Celebrating the Success of Our Latest ECDC Graduates

On Saturday, March 21, Central Baptist Community Development Corporation celebrated the graduation of ten participants from the Eastside Career Development Center’s most recent cohort.

Surrounded by family and friends, graduates marked the completion of their training in Medical Billing and Coding and Pharmacy Technician programs, earning industry-recognized certifications and taking the next step toward meaningful employment.

The event brought together community members, supporters, and partners to recognize the hard work and dedication of each graduate. We were honored to have Angela Moultrie, Region President at Santander, provide words of encouragement, and to welcome Quron Porter, Owner of Ladder Guy Installs LLC and a previous ECDC graduate, as our keynote speaker. His journey served as a powerful reminder of what is possible through commitment and opportunity.

We extend our sincere thanks to our funders, including Bank of America, WSFS, M&T Bank, Santander Bank, and TD Bank, whose support makes this work possible. We are also grateful to our volunteers and ECDC staff for their continued dedication to supporting participants throughout their journey.

This cohort represents more than program completion. It reflects the impact of providing access to training, support, and opportunity, and the role that community plays in helping individuals move forward.

We are proud of each graduate and look forward to staying connected as they continue building their careers.
